T-ball game

If you are in need of a good laugh....go to a T-ball game for 4-6 year olds. Too funny! We put the girls in T-ball this year. They had three practices, but we missed the first one b/c we were back in NE. So Jaylin and Kaylee made it to 2 practices before their 1st game. Not that it matters a whole lot at this age, but they are pretty funny to watch. Most of the kids have no clue what is going on, how to catch, how to hit, and where to run (or walk in some cases including our Kaylee) to base. This is the instructional league and it will be a good place for the girls for 3 years. They have 5 games total, all Monday's in June and then they are done. It is funny how excited they are to go and then when we get there, Kaylee is scared to death to leave my side. This only lasted a few minutes at then game started and she was fine. Each team bats through the entire line up....20 minutes for 13 kids to bat. They get 3 pitches from coach and then they hit off the tee. Most kids hit off the tee. The game is only an hour long, but since we didn't have any game on the field after our game they allowed our team to hit a second time off the tee. So each team got to hit twice and then we were done. Drinks and a snack and see ya next week. As we were walking to the car, Kaylee said, "Mom this was the best t-ball game ever!" In the car Jaylin said, "Mom I wish we had 10 games not just 5!" So as you can tell they had a great time. Enjoy some pictures and videos.

Picture in the house before we left for the game...can you tell they are excited?

Let's go already mom!

Picture in the outfield, the coaches drew a circle in the dirt for each kid...my kids did not leave their circle, but I am not sure they would have if the ball was just outside their circle. They sat down and played in the dirt in their circle. "Coach told me to stay in my circle." They were never involved in the dog piles over a ball, b/c they never had one come close...too funny!
