New Hair cuts

Jaylin getting her hair cut in our living room!

Kaylee and her new cut!
Jaylin with her new cut....she has one side that flips under and the other out...all naturally! I do NOT curl their hair like that every day....someone actually asked me that :)

So we attempted to get the girls hair cut yet again. It is always a battle with Kaylee for two reasons. She hates having it done and she has DIFFICULT hair to cut. Well I have taken them places before and Jaylin's ends up cute, but Kaylee's always has to be redone. Misty has attempted to cut her hair and she even cried for her and made it very difficult. I also have a neighbor who cuts hair. She has trimmed the girls hair and bangs a few time and the time before this last one, we actually got Kaylee's done and it didn't look bad. It took a sucker, mom's hand and a movie, but it got done. So we thought we would try it again! Jaylin went first and hers was done in 20 min. She looks so grown up with her new cut, but they will be 4 in just a few months.

Then we brought Kaylee to the chair...she wanted nothing to do with it. I was holding my neighbor's baby and Kaylee wanted me to hold her...not while you are getting your hair cut honey! It ended up so uneven....for she did not sit still and cried almost the whole time. So we let it dry and she tried to fix it while she was eating at the table......still couldn't get it to look good. We left it and and addressed it a few days later. She didn't like the idea any better, but I bribed her with a slushy from Sonic...she at least tried to sit still and tried not to cry. It looks tons better! It is even, but it looks a little uneven b/c of the way her hair lies....she has very fine hair and wonderful cowlick that hinders it from looking Great!

Hair grows fast and soon it will be long again! The girl's wanted "short" hair like mom and I wanted it shorter for the summer and get rid of some of the bangs that we had been thinning out over the past year or so. Well we are almost there, but I don't think Kaylee will ever be able to wear a short cut!
Jaylin (L) and Kaylee (R) making sure their puppy doesn't feel left out, they had to put all 30+ "clippers" in his hair!

Poor puppy....good thing he is stuffed!
Kaylee (L) and Jaylin just in a cute outfit that Aunt Dee Dee gave them, they added the hat!
Shorts are a little long :)
This is what happens when they dress themselves and it isn't a standard t-shirt! Doesn't quite cover what it needs to honey!
This post was started a long time ago and we have been crazy busy and my computer wouldn't allow me to transfer pictures over until yesterday.....who knows why, but it is working now!
Have a great day and Memorial weekend!

That last pic is priceless!

My hair used to do the exact smae thing as Jaylin's. A little feathering when she's older will fix it--although why would you want to fix it? It's really cute.
